NATURAL HISTORY LECTURE SERVICE
GREAT CRESTED NEWTS
Dudley Zoo and Pensnett Wildlife Group have just recently bred a group
of Great Crested Newts and released them back to a special designated
area in the wild.  Peter Suddock, Dudley Chief Executive said
Great Crested Newts are a highly endangered European species
and where the first group to breed and
release them into their natural habitat.

MORE GOOD NEWS
Ten Fregate Millipedes have joined the conservation breeding
programe at Dudley from London Zoo, it is hoped that this will
be another success story as this is a very endangered species.
